We have declined manufacturer affiliation, allowing us great freedom in applications problem-solving, and though we cannot ship from stock all things to all seekers, we offer our considerable sourcing expertise to help you find needed parts. When contemplating the purchase of an optical microscope or accessories, you will find our extensive library of original manufacturers' literature an invaluable resource for a shared understanding of your configuration requirements.
Instrument pricing
We endeavor to price our instruments in the fairest possible way. Instrument condition is the primary influence on discount, with scarcity and desirability considered secondarily. For current-model instruments, we discount from manufacturers' current published retail pricelists. In calculating the system list price of discontinued instruments, we extract the historical high list price of each component from published yearly dealer price books, disregarding manufacturers' close-outs, promotions or demonstrator sales, then calculate our discount. There is no recalculation of obsolete prices into today's dollars or factoring for currency exchange-rate fluctuations.
Your satisfaction is key
Vermont Optechs, Inc. makes every effort to ensure that the instruments and components we offer are in good optical, mechanical and cosmetic condition before shipment, and any flaws or signs of wear are fully disclosed. All service work and refurbishment is performed by manufacturer-trained, in-house and affiliated technicians. We ship quickly per your requirements, and in most cases enclose copies of original instruction manuals. If the instrument you receive does not perform appropriately for your application, or is not what you expected, you may return it.
